As one of the leading corporations in injection-moulding, Amper-Plastik continuously invests in a modern machine outfit and in automated production processes. In May 2018 the sixth all-electric injection machine was installed in the factory – a Sumitomo (SHI) Demag®, type series “IntElect2”. Thereby not only a higher productive capacity but also an increased article quality are achieved.
These machines stand out by an excellent precision and repeat accuracy enabling a first-rate product quality in large-scale production. Furthermore they are energy saving and have - compared to conventional hydraulic presses – a significant lower energy footprint while increasing the manufacturing capacity at the same time.
The Sumitomo (SHI) Demag® is seamlessly integrated into Amper-Plastik’s machinery in operation. Similar to other machines it is equipped with a linear robot unit of Krauss-Maffei and deployed in a closed production cell. This allows removing plastic parts from the machine and packing them into returnable containers in unmanned operation. Including the new “IntElect2” Amper-Plastik already commands 14 automated production lines of this type.
The investment is strategic and trend-setting. For an extension of fully-automated processes is a fundamental requirement for future growth at Amper-Plastik’s production location in Dachau. It allows economical moulding and processing of technical plastic components in three-shift operation, which applies particularly for articles with high precision requirements and narrow tolerance zones.
Our claim is quality paired with precision. Therefore new machines are equipped with a quality package, q-gate, evaluation units for pressure sensors and Active-Flow-Balance®. For our customers this means that only 100% controlled quality is packed and delivered –that is what we stand for with our name
